Twitterer-in-Chief unilaterally announces his intentions to impose trade sanctions on steel and aluminum importers of 25% and 10% respectively, furthering his agenda to push the US back into a turn-of-the-century economy (1900, not 2000).  If enacted, it is likely Trump will also have encouraged future trade wars which will  also push the United States into the isolated Trump Fiefdom that Donny so desperately desires.

Per usual, the inept Fuckface Von Clownstick announced these plans without the sanctions even being finalized by staff and appropriate departments.

“Trump’s announcement on Thursday came after hours of back and forth between White House officials who remained uncertain up until the President uttered the words on Thursday whether he would preview his tariff-imposing plans.

The President had told aides on Wednesday to lay the groundwork for him to announce new tariffs on steel and aluminum imports the next day, sending them scrambling to determine what specific policy he could announce and others racing to contact executives and union representatives from the industry to attend the announcement at the White House, multiple sources said.
Some of the aides who have been crafting the policy were caught off guard by the plans for an announcement, which The Washington Post first reported Wednesday night.
The White House added a last-minute event with Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and steel and aluminum industry representatives at the White House on Thursday morning and initially said it would be closed to press, before ultimately inviting in the cameras.”
As an added bonus, this unilateral decision is likely to bring any Trump-style “negotiations” regarding NAFTA to a screeching halt.  Coupled with this administrations tax incentives, infrastructure plan incentives, and land usage plans all geared to the oil, coal, and gas industries, Trump’s vision for the US is pretty fucking clear….and it doesn’t involve renewable energies.
I can’t stress enough how fucking idiotic all of this is.  Literally, if I was drawing up a plan to destroy the US both internally and as a world power, I would do pretty much everything Trump is doing.

  1. And right after he announced his tariff war, the dow jones industrial tanked five hundred points. I am sure it is Obama’s fault, somehow. Are we tired of winning yet? Hugs
