Trump has had an epic twitterstorm, that was the mother of all twitterstorms in the last 24 hours or so.  He has praised or promoted: himself (three times), Fox News, “the people of Iran,” the National Border Patrol Council, A.G. Sulzberger, veterans, and Orrin Hatch.  The tweeted direction to “watch Fox tonight,” was later deleted from his twitter feed.  A tweet stating that the US would help the Iranian protestors was later deleted and reworded.

He has denounced, demanded jail time, or otherwise denigrated: Democrats, journalists, Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, the DOJ, “the Iranian Regime,” Pakistan, Palestinians, and Kim Jung Un.

He has also promised to deliver some type of awards for the most dishonest and corrupt media, presumably next Monday at 5pm (seriously doubt he’s gonna actually spend time thinking, formulating, and writing about anything), as well as suggested that DACA activists will “fall in love” with himself and Republicans.

off.

the.

hook.

cray-cray.

Excerpts from a new book written by Michael Wolf have been published today.  There’s some bombshells in there from Steve Bannon.  It is reported that White House staff have been individually combing through it to see if there are any mention of themselves.  Trump has responded with the administration line  commonly used whenever anyone speaks against them, to paraphrase, “he had no influence, was a minor player, and doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”

Trump continues to face criticism from many source that aren’t Congressional Republicans, for his divisiveness and straight-up insanity.  The GOP is silent.  There is need for major legislation regarding the budget, DACA, the Iran Nuclear Deal, and CHIP….still…fucking still.  There is also a desire to create an Infrastructure bill.  All of these Trump shows little to no interest or knowledge in, aside from 240 character twitter-blurbs.

There is a possibility that North and South Korea will hold talks, sans the US, to discuss the upcoming Olympics.  Trump wasted no time in twitter bombing that possible meeting by attempting to provoke the North Koreans into nuclear war, yet again.

There are many GOP Congresspeople who will not be seeking re-election and some will seek other seats.  The GOP is a dumpster fire.

The Mueller investigation silently and methodically continues.  There are weekly articles emerging that slowly close any loopholes that have been exploited by Fox, the administration, and Congressional Republicans in attempts to undermine the investigation.

Also, Fusion GPS has requested that congress release their full sworn testimony to the public so that they may learn of what was discovered of Trump’s financial involvement with Russia as well as the fact the Congress has refused to follow any leads gathered in that testimony to learn of Trump’s dealings, but have instead focused on Fusion GPS itself.

“In the year since the publication of the so-called Steele dossier — the collection of intelligence reports we commissioned about Donald Trump’s ties to Russia — the president has repeatedly attacked us on Twitter. His allies in Congress have dug through our bank records and sought to tarnish our firm to punish us for highlighting his links to Russia. Conservative news outlets and even our former employer, The Wall Street Journal, have spun a succession of mendacious conspiracy theories about our motives and backers.

We are happy to correct the record. In fact, we already have.

Three congressional committees have heard over 21 hours of testimony from our firm, Fusion GPS. In those sessions, we toppled the far right’s conspiracy theories and explained how The Washington Free Beacon and the Clinton campaign — the Republican and Democratic funders of our Trump research — separately came to hire us in the first place.”

The people that have managed to survive in the Trump administration without being fired or quitting, now have a year under their belt.

I don’t expect the GOP to suddenly become critical of Trump or to do their jobs in the interest of Americans, but I do bring up all of these points to highlight the possibility that this administration may experience an exodus soon.  There are all of the above reasons to just call it a day…a year.  It’s not going to get any better than what they have right now.  We have every reason to believe the opposite is true.  It’s going to get worse for each and every one of them.  More difficult to do their jobs, more difficult to handle Trump, more difficult to be able to trust each other.

If any of the department heads leave soon, they won’t do a tell-all or spill the beans on what is really going on, because they are complicit.  The lesser staff…well that’s a different story, isn’t it?  If the dysfunction of the White House sees the light of day, we’ll be entering a time of accelerated uncertainty as Trump will seek to take down everything and everyone in the world with him.  As far as he is concerned, Trump is the world; the Alpha and the Omega.

  1. One thing on the lower employees talking. tRumpsky is notorious for making everyone that works for him or does business with him that he can sign a nondisclosure statement. They normally have ridiculous clauses and huge penalties for leaking anything. Hugs

    1. Yeah for sure, I was looking into that considering the very thought. I could only find information that it was not likely that that would be legal. I’ve found no documentation that it has happened.

      1. I agree it is not legal, it wouldn’t hold up in most courts, and you can not use a DND agreement to cover a crime. That said, my husband use to work for tRump at Mar-a-Largo and yes he had to sign one of those stupid agreements. Hugs

      2. Yeah he’s famous for the NDAs in his private companies…for obvious reasons. Same tact his lawyers try to take with sealing particularly nasty court settlements.

      3. I got the non disclosure agreement abbreviation wrong, was thinking do not disclose. Sorry case of mind not focusing on what I was doing. Hubby keeps telling me he wants to write a book about what he seen when he was was working for tRump but he knows how tRump has his lawyers go after anyone who talks. tRump doesn’t see employees as people or human, he will do whatever nasty thing he can to keep his secrets. Hugs

      4. Ho my lord. HA! Wouldn’t stop Trump from making Bannon sign an NDA during the campaign…..which apparently he did. !!! HA! Trump lawyers are demanding Bannon cease and desist talking about Trump’s family. HILARIOUS. of course the only remedy would be to take Bannon to court and then all manner of facts could come out. It also couldnt extend to protecting the Trump’s during the presidency. This is hysterical.
